Error: Contribute cannot find the website files on the server.

The above error can occur when you relocate a website from one server to another. Contribute doesn't allow you to change the root folder for your website. Instead you need to remove and create a new server connection.

Contribute > Edit > My Connections ... : [click your connection in the list] : Remove

If you are administering a Bridge Hosting account (or using Plesk elsewhere) then you are likely to need to set the "which folder" to "/httpdocs/" and not the suggested "/public_html/".

You may also like to note that the FTP server settings should be configured automatically as we use ProFTPd which is fully compatible with Contribute. FTP compatibility information from the Adobe knowledgebase.
